About Me...

Hi, I’m Mitch.
I’ve spent the better part of my career at the intersection of high-stakes legal technology and the massive scale of global organizations. Currently working on Purview eDiscovery adoption for a global organization with >280,000 staff. In a highly regulated environment of this size, ‘business as usual’ usually involves solving puzzles that don’t come with a manual.
For many of us, the shift from the controlled, predictable world of on-premises eDiscovery to the dynamic ecosystem of Microsoft Purview is a massive leap. It’s more than just a technical migration; it’s a fundamental rethink of how we maintain defensibility and navigate global regulations at a scale.
The most valuable lessons I’ve learned haven’t come from the official documentation, but from the friction—the ancillary infrastructure, the evolving SaaS platform, and the legal ‘what-ifs’. I started this blog to open up my notebook and share my thoughts on navigating these complexities. My goal is to bridge the gap between legacy expectations and the reality of the modern cloud, one post at a time. I’m a big believer that we’re all better off when we share our notes.
Views are my own not that of my employer.
